Scott McDermott is a highly respected PGA Professional since 2012, with over a decade of experience coaching golfers of all levels—from juniors and beginners to elite amateurs and tour professionals.
Scott holds PGA Advanced status in Coaching, Game Development, Management, and Small Business.
Previously, Scott served as a Teaching Professional at Centenary Park Golf Course, where he built a strong foundation in player development.
He is also a presenter for PGA members on the topics of coaching and game development.
His deep understanding of golf technology allows him to deliver measurable results, holding certifications in TrackMan Level 2, TPI Certified Level 1, Capto Putting System Level 2, BodiTrak and Superspeed Level 1.
A leader in All Abilities golf, Scott is one of the world’s leading coaches for golfers with disabilities. He currently serves as the Head Coach for the Victorian Special Olympics Golf Team and is an Ambassador for Special Olympics Australia.
As the WebEx High-Performance All Abilities Lead Coach, he plays a pivotal role in developing pathways for golfers with disabilities to excel.
Scott’s achievements in game development were recognized when he was named 2024 Victorian Coach of the Year – Game Development. He has also coached multiple high-level All Abilities golfers, including the World Ranked #8 player and Australia’s #1, #4, and #7 ranked WR4GD players.
